SOMEBODY ELSE'S PHONE
If you found somebody else's phone, would you look through it?
Together with Wieden+Kennedy London, B-reel developed a campaign where you can follow three young characters; Luca a wannabe LA film-maker, Jade a young PR girl in Shanghai and Anna a Swedish model in London.
We implemented nine different languages for regions all over the globe, allowing visitors to follow the characters’ evolving storylines across three time zones, through a 24/7 feed of content, for over 6 weeks. Fusing scripted content with real life audience interaction, fans learned everything about the characters through their text messages, photos, videos and calls on somebodyelsesphone.com. More than 3750 different pieces of mobile media content were accessible on the site, inspired by online story telling platforms like IM and Twitter.

To give the characters a life beyond the campaign, visitors could sign up to their Facebook pages for more personal conversations. Taking that one step further, there is even the opportunity to discover the characters’ phone numbers and call or text them directly.
